The Order of Christian Initiation is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective converts to Catholicism who are interested in joining the Catholic faith. Candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of Catholic beliefs and practices through periods of reflection, prayer, instruction, discernment, and formation. Those participating are invited to attend Mass on Sundays, become increasingly involved in the activities of the parish, and participate in the weekly program classes, which runs from September through Pentecost on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, concluding with Night Prayer and Benediction. The Christian Initiation team will walk with those considering joining the Catholic faith in this wonderful journey towards Christ and His Church.
