Life Teen
Youth in grades 8-12 come to Life Teen to grow in their faith together. The theme for this year is “Making Friends for Eternal Life.” We hope that Life Teen will inspire our youth to form an eternal friendship with Jesus and Mary, their peers, and their church community.

Life Teen is required for all Confirmation candidates in grades 8-12 and is included in the Confirmation fee. Learn more about Confirmation.
What do we do in Life Teen?
The heart of Life Teen occurs on Life Nights every Wednesday evening throughout the year. The Life Nights run from 6-7:15 PM, immediately following the Wednesday Meal. Youth room opens at 5:30 PM on Life Nights so that youth can hang out and socialize.
A typical Life Night includes games, a spiritual theme for the night, social discussions of faith, and prayer. Our main goal is to allow the 8-12th graders to build a community of faith with their peers. There are several social nights built into our Wednesday schedule to promote this friendship, faith, and community.

What else do we do in Life Teen?
In addition to our weekly Wednesday Life Nights we offer service projects, social outings, leadership training, mission trips, retreats, and more.
How does Life Teen Build Leadership?
Youth are invited to plan their activities and then take on the leadership role for the various events. We teach them how to organize and promote their events. We also encourage spiritual leadership throughout the year as youth will be invited to give witness to their own faith and to lead the faith elements of Life Nights. Finally, we help the youth build up leadership through service to those in need, their peers, and their church community.
