Youth in grades 8-12 come to Life Teen to grow in their faith together. The theme for this year is “Making Friends for Eternal Life.” We hope that Life Teen will inspire our youth to form an eternal friendship with Jesus and Mary, their peers, and their church community.
What is Life Teen?
Life Teen is designed to lead teens closer to Christ. At Blessed Sacrament Church we build a positive Catholic social environment that serves to facilitate an encounter with Christ for our youth. We do this through Life Nights, SNAC, Breakfast Club, retreats, summer trips, and participation in the Sacramental life of the church.
What do we do at a Life Night?
An average Life Night (Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:15 PM) will consist of the following:
The Youth Room is usually open beginning at 5:00 PM for youth to hang out.
What is SNAC?
SNAC stands for Sunday Night at Church. These Life Nights are social in nature and are there to build a positive Catholic social environment. Each SNAC has a theme and it is a great opportunity for our youth to invite their friends to church to have some fun. We close each SNAC with prayer.
What is Breakfast Club?
Breakfast Club is a group of devoted youth who come to the 7:00 AM Mass on Tuesday mornings and stay for breakfast before going to school. This is a convenient option to start your morning off with the Lord before hitting the grind.
What is Adoremus?
Adoremus is a city-wide youth ministry event where our youth come together for praise and worship, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and fellowship. These nights are hosted at the Terra Sancta Retreat Center.
